Fireman Dave paid us a visit.

In May we had a visit from Fireman Dave and his fire engine, who came to Apple Tree House. Dave talked to the young people about fire safety, and let them and our 'very excited' workers have sit in the fire engine. I can honesty say, I am not sure who was the most excited, the workers or the children!! Needless to say, our young people had a great time and came away with a real interest in fire safety and what to do to keep themselves safe. A big shout out and thank you to Newark fire service for taking time out to visit us and for keep everyone in the community safe. Proof that learning can be fun!! (for everyone).
